The past few days have been filled with blessings!
This weekend Kellie got a special visit from Lukes family on Saturday(Read about in yesterdays journal entry), & a big group of us friends on Sunday. This was very uplifting for Kellie considering her 2 weeks of inpatient rehab will be up on Wednesday, & were not exactly sure what the next step in her care is going to be yet. Please continue to pray for Kellie as she approaches several upcoming obstacles, including waiting on her Medicaid approval so that she can start outpatient rehab. (If anyone has any connections with companies that make wheelchair accessible vehicles please contact us!) All of this, plus some breakthrough pain had Kellie feeling a little down today, but that quickly changed.
In case you have not seen this video, please watch it so you can fully understand what a miracle this weekend was..

We first found this video & showed it to Kellie a few days after Luke proposed, & it obviously touched all of us. Kellie said that she wanted to be like Jennifer on her wedding day, & it gave her hope knowing that someone had been in her exact situation, & understood the emotions Kellie has been experiencing.
Well, I found Jennifer Darmon on the internet & contacted her, hoping that she could offer some words of advice for Kellie, & this weekend she wrote me back.
We all gathered in and around Kellies bed tonight & showed her some more videos about Jennifer. Kellie told us how much she had been thinking about her and what she was able to overcome. Then we opened the email from Jennifer & Kellie read it outloud. The letter was incredibly touching, emotional, inspiring, & it came at a perfect time. The letter was truly a miracle. Kellie was so surprised & the energy in the room was unexplainable. Kellie is the most loving & enthusiastic person I have ever met. Please continue to pray for her & send her words of love, even if you do not know her, they mean SO much to her on the hard days.
Thank you all for all of your support so far, and thank you God for Miracles.
Also, the TEAM KELLIE shirts are in! All proceeds go towards Kellie's medical bills. If you donate @ least 20 dollars to Kellie's fund you get a shirt. Once you donate you will get an email asking what size you want & your mailing address. Kellie is VERY excited about the shirts!
